This position is required to work on site at least 3 days a week at one of our three locations: Bellevue, WA, Overland Park, KS, or Frisco, TX. It is not available for remote opportunity.

Job Overview

The Sr Vendor Performance Manager is an individual contributor role that manages vendor relationships to ensure service delivery aligns with organizational goals and compliance requirements. It oversees vendor performance, contract lifecycle activities, and collaborates with internal teams to optimize outsourced services. The Sr Vendor Performance Manager differentiates by integrating vendor management with risk mitigation and spend optimization across multiple business units. It establishes and enforces supplier compliance governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal policy standards through structured audits and performance controls. Success is measured by vendor compliance, service reliability, cost management, and effective stakeholder engagement. The work supports organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction through reliable vendor partnerships and contract management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and internal controls to mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives and policies to improve vendor management practices and support financial performance
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships to align service delivery expectations and enhance reliability
  • Lead communication and escalation processes to resolve vendor performance and service delivery issues promptly
  • Monitor vendor performance through scorecards and metrics, providing feedback and conducting evaluations to drive improvements
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR an advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent is required. Acceptable areas of study include Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field. 4-7 years of Telecommunications/Wireless Industry Vendor Performance Management experience – particularly in Engineering, Finance or Carrier Management – or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is desired. Management, team lead, or other equivalent leadership experience is also valued.

Travel:

Travel is Required.

Compensation:

The compensation range for Overland Park, KS is $87,800 - $118,800. For Frisco, TX, it is $93,200 - $126,100, and for Bellevue, WA, it is $104,800 - $141,800. The general base pay range is $80,600 - $145,500, with a Corporate Bonus Target of 15%. Actual pay will vary based on work location, qualifications, and experience.
