Overview

The Bakery Production Associate at T & T Supermarket supports the Bakery Production Supervisor in producing a range of bakery products including bread, cakes, and pastries based on orders received. The role involves ensuring quality control, freshness, inventory management, and minimizing wastage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce the correct quantity of assigned bakery products.
  • Perform production tasks such as dough mixing, cutting, rolling, forming, filling, shaping, and slicing.
  • Prepare various fillings including fruits, meat, paste, and custards.
  • Control fermentation and baking times and monitor temperature of coolers and ovens.
  • Decorate bread, cakes and other pastries according to specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, equipment upkeep, and workplace safety.
  • Answer customer enquiries professionally.
  • Adhere to food safety protocols (Food Safe Certification required).
  • Work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.
