About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack AI Developer to join our team as a 1099 contractor (U.S. Citizens only). The role focuses on building and scaling AI-driven applications, designing secure, cloud-native AI solutions, and implementing robust DevSecOps practices to meet federal and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver AI-powered applications using AWS Bedrock.
• Develop secure front-end features with Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Implement back-end services, APIs, and serverless AWS solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Apply DevSecOps practices for compliance with federal and commercial standards.
• Conduct secure coding, peer reviews, and vulnerability remediation.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Research emerging LLM/AI security considerations and AWS advancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven full stack development expertise, front-end and back-end.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock and large language model integration.
• Proficiency in Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Familiarity with secure coding standards and secure API implementations.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and RBAC.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cognito and NextAuth.js for OAuth2/OIDC.
• Proficient in advanced DynamoDB design patterns.
• Strong TypeScript and modern UI framework experience.
• Experience with real-time applications and AWS S3 for secure storage.
• AWS Certifications such as AI Practitioner, Solutions Architect, ML Specialty, Security Specialty, or DevOps Engineer.

This role requires adherence to top security standards and compliance frameworks, including FISMA, NIST SP800-53, FedRAMP, CMMC for federal projects, and NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS, CCPA, GDPR for commercial purposes.
