Division Overview

The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG) supports systems engineering and trusted advisory services for the Space and National Intelligence community.

Position Summary

SPA is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Human Resources Support Specialist to join the Front Office Support team in Chantilly, VA. This role supports government civilian, military, and contractor personnel with HR processes including onboarding, staffing, performance management, and HR systems implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding, workforce planning, staffing, and performance management.
  • Facilitate administration of awards, recognition, and career development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with NRO and government HR policies in coordination with the Office of Human Resources.
  • Assist in implementing HR tools and processes to improve service efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support for recruiting, performance reviews, and position assignments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

Required: U.S. Citizenship, ability to obtain TS/SCI and pass a Polygraph, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, and 3–5 years of experience in HR operations focused on government processes. Familiarity with military and civilian HR functions and strong compliance knowledge is essential.

Desired: Master’s degree in a related field, professional HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR), knowledge of NRO, DoD, or Intelligence Community HR structures, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR tools such as Workday or PeopleSoft.
