The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. The work covers enterprise architectural assessments, systems engineering, integration, test planning, cost estimating, acquisition support, and cybersecurity. Within this division, the Intelligence Programs Group (IPG) offers specialized systems engineering and advisory services to key national defense agencies.

Responsibilities

The Senior Human Resources Support Specialist will be part of the Front Office Support (R-FOS) team in Chantilly, VA. Key duties include:

  • Supporting government civilian, military, and contractor personnel through onboarding, workforce planning, staffing, and performance management processes.
  • Facilitating the administration of awards, recognition, and career development programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with NRO and government-directed HR policies and procedures by closely working with the Office of Human Resources (OHR).
  • Assisting implementation of HR tools, systems, and processes to improve efficiency in training and career management.
  • Providing administrative support for recruiting, performance reviews, and position assignments.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI With Poly; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Minimum of 5 years in HR operations with a focus on federal or government HR processes; Familiarity with military and civilian HR functions; Strong understanding of HR compliance, regulations, and policies applicable to federal and military personnel; Role based in Chantilly, VA.

Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field; Professional HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR); Knowledge of NRO, DoD, or Intelligence Community HR structures; Experience in supporting joint-service HR functions; Expertise in HR workflow management and data analysis; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR tools such as Workday or PeopleSoft.
