Warehouse Order Selector at Sysco
Sysco is immediately hiring Warehouse Order Selectors for overnight/night shifts. This active, physical role is a critical part of the foodservice supply chain, focusing on picking orders for delivery to local foodservice venues.
What You'll Do
- Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift to move products efficiently.
- Organize and palletize various products to accurately build customer orders.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support operations.
Working Environment
This role operates within a safe working environment, but candidates should be prepared for temperature and humidity variations. You will work in non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen areas, depending on the product type and local weather conditions.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 0 – 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
- Ability to frequently lift products weighing between 10lb - 75lbs, and occasionally up to 100lbs.
- Capable of frequently reaching up to 72 inches.
- Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment and retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
- Comfortable working in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
- Ability to work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.
Preferred Requirements
- 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
- 1 year of selection experience.
- 2 years of consistent work history is preferred.
