Job Summary
The Warehouse Order Selector - Part Time at Sysco is responsible for accurately pulling case orders using an electric pallet jack, organizing products by assignment, and loading them onto designated routes within a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Selects orders assigned by operations clerk and loads them onto the proper route.
- Performs other job functions as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Education
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience
One year of related experience is preferred. Electric pallet jack experience is also preferred.
Professional Skills
Ability to work for long periods in a fast-paced, cooler environment is essential.
Physical Demand
- Frequent lifting of products up to 50 lbs. during the shift, with infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to safely climb on and off powered industrial equipment.
- Regularly bend, squat, push, and pull as required by the role.
Work Environment
Candidates must be able to work comfortably and efficiently in confined spaces.
