About the role
Video Editor – Commission + Affiliate Revenue (Remote)
We're Syntopia / LiveBuzz Studio — we run AI-powered livestream commerce for brands on TikTok Shop and we're building a team of editors on a performance-based model.
This isn't a salary role. It's built for editors who are fast, output-driven, and want uncapped earning potential tied directly to results.
What you'll be editing
- Short-form content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) for e-commerce brands — product demos, live highlights, AI livestream clips, and promotional cuts.
- You'll work with raw footage and AI-generated content from our platform.
What we're paying
- $1 per 1,000 views on every video you produce (tracked via WHOP)
- Affiliate commission on every paying subscriber you refer to Syntopia — 15% recurring monthly revenue share
- Sub-affiliate tiers — build your own network. Earn from affiliates you recruit (tier 2) and from affiliates they recruit (tier 3). Rates on application
- Per-video fee available for high-output editors — negotiated based on volume and quality
- No cap. No ceiling.
What we're looking for
- Strong short-form editing instincts — you understand hooks, pacing, retention
- Fluent with AI editing tools: Runway, Captions.ai, OpusClip, Pika, ElevenLabs, Descript or similar
- Fast turnaround — you're not slow
- E-commerce or TikTok content experience is a big plus
- Able to work independently with a brief and minimal hand-holding
