Overview
Syntax, a leading Managed Cloud Provider for Mission Critical Enterprise Applications since 1972, is seeking a Sr JDE CNC Consultant. In this role, you will provide advanced CNC administration, environment management, troubleshooting, automation, and performance optimization for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems hosted on cloud and on-premise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver senior-level CNC administration including installation, upgrades, ESU deployments, and configuration.
- Diagnose and resolve critical technical issues across EnterpriseOne systems and supporting infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, conduct tuning, and implement automation processes.
- Perform SQL scripting, database troubleshooting, and collaborate with DBAs.
- Support system integrations, security administration, provisioning, and change control.
- Participate in incident and problem management and proactive maintenance.
- Prepare technical documentation, operational runbooks, and environment diagrams.
- Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: 5–10 years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC administration, expertise in installation, deployment, upgrades, experience with WebLogic/WebSphere or equivalent, SQL scripting, server administration (Windows/Linux), and network fundamentals.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a global team.
Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC 9.2 certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automation tooling, familiarity with OCI, AWS, Azure, Oracle DBA concepts, and prior consulting or managed services experience.
