What You’ll Be Doing as a Summer 2026 Industrial Placement, Electronics and Software Development
- Collaborate with software developers throughout the design, implementation, and verification of 3D electromagnetic (EM) simulation products.
- Develop prototypes and experiment with new toolkits for industry-leading simulation software.
- Investigate and resolve defects in production code, contributing to the quality and reliability of our products.
- Create and enhance unit and regression tests to ensure robust software performance.
- Analyze simulation results and effectively communicate findings using visualization software.
What You’ll Need
- Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program in Canada.
- Pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience with programming languages, especially C++.
- Experience with CAD tools is a plus.

- Program Length: 40 hours per week, May 2026 – August 2026.
- Location: Fully Remote
- Working Model: 100% remote
- Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time.
- Start Date: May 2026.
- Salary Information: The base salary range across Canada for this role is between $38.00-$41.00 CAD per hour. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details upon request.
