What You’ll Be Doing: Network Security Engineer
As a motivated and self-driven Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting critical information and infrastructure. You will deploy, tune, and maintain security policies, analyze complex security events, and respond swiftly to potential threats. You will also mentor junior team members and stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to safeguard our corporate network, assets, data, and users.
- Provide senior-level network services, including installing, configuring, and integrating network security technologies.
- Configure and manage network security devices such as Palo Alto, ClearPass, and Zscaler firewalls.
- Monitor network traffic, analyze security events, and promptly respond to potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Participate in advanced security policy decisions (firewall, Zero Trust, Web Proxy, micro-segmentation, security posture).
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase productivity and maintain high-quality deployments.
- Provide advanced network analytics for complex issues escalated from Tier I/II support groups.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge base and SOP/KB documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex security-related issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Network Security Certifications (PCNSE, ZIA/ZPA, Security+).
- 6+ years of network security and engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals and protocols.
- Proficiency with network configuration management and automation tools (Algosec, Tufin, Python, Ansible, OpenStack).
- Strong troubleshooting skills on firewall issues.
- Experience with firewall auditing and a drive to stay current with new technologies.
