Position Overview: Senior Organizational Change Manager
As a Senior Organizational Change Manager at Syner-G, you will be instrumental in leading and driving strategic change initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive change management plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance. Working closely with leadership, you will ensure the smooth and successful implementation of changes to achieve lasting business benefits.
This role demands a high degree of independence, involving the assessment of training needs, creation of engaging training content, proposal of appropriate learning modalities, and partnership with stakeholders to deploy effective learning solutions. Your expertise in change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, communication, and training development is critical for guiding the organization through transitions and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Key Job Functions
- Lead one or more sub-work streams within Organizational Change Management (OCM), including Change Readiness, Training, and Communications.
- Apply structured methodology to lead and execute change management activities.
- Develop executable plans using change management methodology, processes, and tools to support adoption.
- Design, develop, deliver, and manage key project communications for all impacted stakeholders.
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, identify stakeholders, and create adoption-focused actions.
- Independently assess training needs and determine optimal learning strategies and modalities (e.g., PowerPoint, e-learning, reference guides).
- Partner with stakeholders to scope and build training content aligned with project and organizational requirements.
- Create and deliver training directly to end users and stakeholder groups as needed.
- Deploy and monitor training programs, making necessary updates and modifications for effectiveness.
- Plan, manage, and support the design and delivery of training programs for end users and external partners.
- Utilize behavioral tools to assess change impact on organizations, culture, performance, and readiness.
- Prepare comprehensive change and workforce transition plans, including strategies for leadership engagement.
- Develop and deploy user adoption programs tailored to implemented changes/solutions.
- Drive work efforts and leverage data-driven solutions to achieve change outcomes and measure user impact.
- Enhance user experience by improving solution adoption, usability, accessibility, and interactivity.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Below are the key educational, experience, skill, knowledge, and ability requirements.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree within a life science or related field is required.
Technical Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in a consulting or industry role.
- Proven experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce for managing change initiatives and stakeholder communications.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and their role in organizational change is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to define OCM scope, estimate work, and prepare client proposals/presentations.
- Effectively lead the planning, management, and execution of defined OCM scope within an engagement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of individual and organizational change processes.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to diverse audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and maintenance skills across all organizational levels.
- A demonstrated ability to influence others towards a common vision.

- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and project lifecycle phases.
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), PROSCI Certified OCM Expert, or industry equivalent preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Exposure to business development (e.g., proposal development, sales).
- Proficiency in MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel.
- Proven experience in managing clear and effective customer communications.
