About the Director, Marketing Operations Role

Role Overview

This strategic and hands-on Director, Marketing Operations will lead the transformation of our marketing infrastructure in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. The role involves operationalizing an account-based strategy, streamlining campaign operations, and building robust reporting and analytics frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the Marketing Operations function with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Drive transition from a lead-based to an account-based marketing (ABM) model using platforms like 6sense.
  • Build and optimize marketing performance dashboards, KPIs, and attribution models.
  • Streamline campaign operations via scalable processes, documentation, compliance, and governance.
  • Own and optimize the marketing tech stack including Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, RingLead, Chili Piper, and Drift.
  • Develop and enforce data hygiene and lead/contact routing best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing, Finance, and more.
  • Present confidently to executive audiences, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS marketing operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven history of building and scaling marketing operations in high-growth environments.
  • Deep expertise in Marketo, Salesforce administration, and ABM platforms like 6sense.
  • Experience leading the shift from lead-based to account-based marketing models.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in building robust reporting frameworks and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with RingLead, Chili Piper, and Drift is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A strategic, hands-on builder’s mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

This full-time U.S. based role offers a budgeted salary range of $150,000—$180,000 USD and is bonus eligible. Benefits include competitive health insurance, PTO, volunteer time off, employer-paid disability, parental/adoption leave, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.
