Overview
Syndigo powers the continual flow of data and content throughout the commerce ecosystem. As a recognized leader in software and services for master data, product information, and content syndication, the Application Support Engineer will ensure that the Riversand SaaS product operates smoothly for our global customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on application and configuration for Riversand SaaS product.
- Ensure timely response and resolution with proper SLA management.
- Diagnose and resolve technical and operational issues with thorough RCA.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and test software issues in both lower and production environments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during critical incident resolutions.
- Conduct periodic customer cadence calls to review ticket history and process improvements.
- Contribute to the knowledge base and documentation for support improvements.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in Application Software Support.
- Experience supporting global customers via email, remote troubleshooting, and phone.
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment with shift rotation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and public cloud hosting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting API calls using tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of multi-tenant environments and customer information security policies.
- Experience with large data imports/exports, data relationships, and validations.
- Familiarity with data formats like JSON, XML, and YAML.
- Ability to analyze logs using Sensu, Kibana, Grafana, etc.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow, or Team Foundation Server.
- Familiarity with Linux OS, microservices architecture, and big-data analytics.
- Scripting skills using shell scripting & Python.
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of Java programming.
- Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker Swarm or Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with technology stacks like Netty/Nginx, Elastic Search, MySQL, Apache Storm, and Kafka.
Work Location
Bangalore, with a hybrid work arrangement.
