Role Description
The Senior Data Analyst is a functional specialist responsible for driving Symphony’s data science strategy on complex projects. This role involves managing data complexity and ensuring data products are impactful and scalable. You will engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide strategic insights and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex data sets to provide strategic insights.
- Create dynamic dashboards and presentations using data visualization tools.
- Respond to ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Build, maintain, and improve data models and pipelines.
- Manage complex SQL queries and produce production-ready reports via DOMO.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and QA teams.
- Implement AI models for predictive analytics.
- Educate team members to become data-driven.
Qualifications
- Master/MBA/Engineering degree in relevant fields.
- 7+ years of business experience in data analysis/science or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (DOMO, Tableau, etc.).
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with ETL processes.
- Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
