Manager, Quality and Testing at Sympa

Sympa, one of Europe’s most established HR tech companies, is looking for a seasoned professional to lead quality and testing initiatives in our Engineering organization. This role involves managing a team of seven QA professionals, guiding quality assurance strategies, and ensuring product excellence across our platform.

Role Overview

You will take full ownership of product quality, from planning, testing, and execution to reporting issues. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will collaborate with agile development teams and oversee testing processes while maintaining a hands-on approach when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of quality assurance, including technical, project, process, and people management.
• Oversee QA planning, execution, and sign-off; effectively communicate issues and risks.
• Improve QA processes and documentation across all stages of development.
• Manage budget forecasting, resource planning, and recruitment for the QA team.
• Collaborate with development teams and implement tools to track testing progress.

Technologies & Tools

The role involves working with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, .Net, React, Robot Framework, Playwright, JMeter, Locust, OWASP ZAP, GitHub Actions, and more. Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and various testing tools is essential.
