About The Role
The Technical Program Manager is accountable for planning and executing medium-complexity technical programs spanning technical teams and domains. Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality releases and reliable production performance.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a production issue point of contact for timely resolution.
- Coordinate testing and production support, including on-call resolution.
- Manage end-to-end planning and execution of technical programs.
- Monitor program health, risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate cross-team alignment and clear deliverable integration.

Compensation
Salary Range: $113,700 - $189,400 plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.
Who You Are
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- 5+ years of information systems experience with a strong technical background.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and analytical skills.
- Experience in the life insurance domain preferred.
Work Authorization & Remote Requirements
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. As a remote-first organization, Symetra requires a minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload via Fiber, Cable, or DSL.
