Project Manager II

About the Role

Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager II! In this role, you will be responsible for the initiation, planning, and delivery of medium risk Division projects usually lasting under 12 months and with budgets ranging from $100,000 to $1 million. The projects will involve multiple stakeholders, a project team possibly across locations, external partners, and moderately complex technology components.

What You'll Do In This Role

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
• Develop project structure including schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Assemble and manage project teams to deliver objectives within scope and quality parameters.
• Communicate project status and metrics to stakeholders and executive management.
• Actively manage risks, issues, and change control processes during the project lifecycle.
• Review deliverables for accuracy and provide mentoring to others.

Compensation

Salary Range: $85,400 - $142,300 plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.

You are an experienced professional with analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. You leverage best practices and understand both internal and external business issues to improve products and services. Familiarity with remote working standards and identity verification procedures is required.

Remote Network Minimum Requirements

Must have a minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload using fiber, cable, or DSL. Satellite or cellular broadband connections are not permitted.
