About The Role

The Platinum Sales Support Specialist at Symetra will engage heavily with New Business to provide concierge support on high-impact annuity applications. This role offers the opportunity to eventually become a registered representative while learning Symetra's products and processes with a clear path for advancement within the sales organization.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in processing high impact New Business cases.
  • Follow up on not-in-good-order business and collaborate with advisors.
  • Monitor cases ensuring smooth flow through the New Business process.
  • Partner with wholesalers to drive territory sales and follow up on meetings.
  • Handle product inquiries, illustrations, pending applications and marketing materials.
  • Support calling campaigns for launching new products and identifying opportunities.
  • Answer the 800# for the Sales Desk with product information and service inquiries.

Compensation

$22.00 - $32.95 hourly with eligibility for an annual bonus.

Who You Are

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior annuity application processing experience is a plus.
  • Relevant customer service experience and desire to advance in sales.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Remote Network Minimum Requirements

Minimum Internet Speed: 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload via Fiber, Cable, or DSL. Satellite, cellular broadband and wired dial-up are not permissible.
