Principal Cloud Governance Architect for ARD Cloud Platform Team

About the Role

You are a key part of the ARD Cloud transformation team, building the ARD Cloud Platform. In this role as Principal Cloud Governance Architect for ARD Cloud Platform Team, you will design, define, and evolve the Cloud Governance Framework that controls the utilization of cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the Cloud Governance Framework.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Establish clear processes and roles for cloud service use.
• Create guidelines and control mechanisms for effective risk management and auditability.
• Promote a governance culture and organize knowledge transfer.
• Support the strategic direction and ongoing evolution of the ARD Cloud Strategy.

Qualifications

• Technical degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and cloud-specific models.
• Experience with data protection standards (DSGVO, ISO 27001) and risk management.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking to develop governance policies and risk identification.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to stakeholders.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments, including automation, cost management (e.g., FinOps), and industry-specific regulations.
• Fluency in German (C2) and familiarity with GRC tools.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset in interdisciplinary teams.
