About the Role

Swooped is seeking a motivated Technical Support Analyst to manage and maintain its software platform and infrastructure. This remote position, with preference for candidates on the East Coast, is ideal for those eager to develop their skills in system administration, network support, and software operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot software and networking systems.
  • Provide technical support and resolve software and network issues.
  • Assist with maintenance of network systems including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ensure backups and assist in restoring critical system operations.
  • Apply patches, updates, and upgrades for security.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and support activities.
  • Collaborate with senior administrators and vendors to implement solutions.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and participate in training.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years technical support or system administration experience.
  • Expertise in server setup, configuration, scripting, and maintenance across Windows, Linux, and Unix.
  • Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security practices.
  • Experience with system backups, restore operations, and disaster recovery.
  • Background in cloud environments, preferably Azure.
  • Knowledge of system monitoring and management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
