Job Description
About The Role
Our client is actively seeking a remote Project Manager to lead and oversee all activities related to their Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program. In this critical role, the Project Manager will ensure that all contract deliverables, workflow performance, and system operations consistently meet the stringent contractual and regulatory requirements. You will provide essential day-to-day operational leadership and act as the primary point of contact for all Government stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and program execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all FOIA program operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant performance.
- Manage project staffing, schedules, workload distribution, and resource planning.
- Monitor performance metrics, workflow efficiency, and deliverable status; provide regular reports to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Identify operational risks, performance gaps, and compliance issues, coordinating corrective actions with Government stakeholders.
- Ensure quality control processes are implemented and maintained across all FOIA activities.
- Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
- Support continuous process improvement and program execution.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing team or federal operations.
- A minimum of 1 year of FOIA or related (records management, privacy, compliance function) experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong understanding of FOIA and/or Privacy Programs.
- Holds an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interface with leadership.
