Project Manager Healthcare

The role involves leading multi-million-dollar healthcare technology implementations using project management and Agile delivery techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project management including scope, planning, risk, issue, communication, and integration management.
  • Manage delivery using an Agile framework and Scaling Up Processes/People.
  • Report on OKRs and KPIs to leadership.

A Day in the Life

  • Manage projects according to Contract/Service Order.
  • Translate customer business/technical needs into requirements.
  • Create and present project/release/sprint plans.
  • Maintain tracking tools such as Smartsheet and JIRA.
  • Create documentation including Project Charter, Gantt charts, Best Practices, and Lessons Learned.
  • Implement risk/issue management processes and mitigate risks collaboratively.
  • Prepare and publish regular status reports.
  • Manage resource capacity and customer meetings.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and infrastructure.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, review, retrospective and demo.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years project management experience.
  • 3+ years business analysis experience.
  • Background in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, Rally).
  • Experience with government customers/projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Value-Based Care projects.
  • Understanding of healthcare data formats (CCDA, HL7, etc.).
  • Experience with IT/Automation (APIs, SQL, BI) and PMP Certification.
