About the Role

The Manager, Product Content Strategy at Swooped is a strategic and creative leader responsible for architecting and championing the brand voice across the product ecosystem. This player-coach role splits time between mentoring a content strategist and executing hands-on copy and strategy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Mentor: Manage and coach a direct report to ensure high-quality content output.
  • Own Product Content Strategy: Define and govern the product's voice, tone, and vocabulary for clarity and personality, maintaining guidelines that empower the entire product organization.
  • Pioneer AI Content: Oversee content for AI-powered member tools, guiding the tone and accuracy of automated support.
  • Bridge Brand & Product: Partner with Marketing to ensure a cohesive narrative from marketing to in-product experience.
  • Champion User-Centric Content: Work with Product Managers and Designers to reduce friction and build trust through clear messaging.
  • Navigate & Innovate with Compliance: Collaborate with Legal to craft regulatory-compliant yet approachable messaging.
  • Execute with Excellence: Write and strategize key content initiatives including feature launches, communications, and help articles.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in content strategy or UX writing with a digital product portfolio.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrable portfolio showcasing crisp UX copy and strategic content.
  • Experience in mentoring, feedback, and guidance for other writers.
  • Proven track record in creating and evangelizing content guidelines.
  • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to drive strategy.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Clear communication with a balance of seriousness and playfulness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with emerging technologies and generative AI tools.
  • Background in regulated industries like FinTech or HealthTech.
  • Familiarity with Figma and other design tools.

Compensation

$169K – $271K with equity opportunities.
