About Swooped

The IT Operations Manager at Swooped plays a crucial role in scaling our people analytics operations rapidly. This hands-on role involves closing tickets, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for a global, remote-first team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own onboarding: Prepare new hires with laptops, accounts, and access.
  • Manage identities and access: Provision, deprovision, and manage resets.
  • Solve problems hands-on: Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and SaaS issues.
  • Run and improve the SaaS ecosystem: Administer Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Zscaler, Bitwarden and HRIS tools.
  • Keep devices secure and compliant: Oversee MDM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
  • Capture and improve processes: Document workflows and refine the internal knowledge base.
  • Take initiative: Identify gaps and drive projects for efficient and resilient IT operations.
  • Work globally: Provide support across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.
  • Stay ahead on security: Collaborate with IT and security stakeholders aligning with SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Required Qualifications

  • Experienced systems administrator with a hands-on IT operations background.
  • Based in a Pacific or Central US timezone with support experience for remote global teams.
  • Skilled in account management tools (Okta, Google Workspace, Office 365) and proficient on MacOS and Windows.
  • Proven troubleshooter with a security-first mindset.
  • Strong communication skills in asynchronous environments and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proactive in spotting gaps and initiating improvements.
