About The Role
This role is for a strategic and operational leader supporting the cofounder in driving company-wide planning, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level initiatives. The Director of Operations and Strategy will add structure, manage processes, and ensure alignment across teams to achieve organizational goals. Additionally, the role acts as a key representative of the cofounder by guiding informed decisions, drafting communications, and fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Lead annual and quarterly planning ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Track and monitor goals and roadmaps to maintain mission focus.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination and resolve bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with department heads to drive execution and accountability.
- Promote operational excellence through improved collaboration and process.
Executive Support & Communication:
- Prepare the cofounder with market insights and key talking points.
- Represent the cofounder in meetings ensuring accurate communication.
- Draft documents and communications maintaining consistent tone.
- Support real-time decision making to advance projects efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in operations, strategy, business development, or similar roles.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and planning.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong judgment and decision-making with a collaborative approach.
- Adept at managing multiple projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, investment banking, or consulting experience.
- Familiarity with open source software and artificial intelligence.
