About The Role

The Director of Operations Strategy at Swooped is a strategic and operational leader who supports the cofounder in driving company-wide planning, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level initiatives. This role adds structure, manages processes, and ensures alignment across teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Lead annual and quarterly planning to align teams with strategic goals.
  • Track and monitor goals and roadmaps to stay mission-focused.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination and resolve dependencies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to drive execution and accountability.
  • Improve operational excellence and organizational velocity through effective processes.

Executive Support & Communication:

  • Prepare the cofounder for strategy, operations, and finance meetings.
  • Represent the cofounder in meetings ensuring accurate perspective.
  • Draft communications and documents with consistent tone.
  • Support real-time decision-making to push projects forward.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in operations, strategy, or related fields in high-growth environments.
  • Proven experience leading company-wide planning and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making, and consensus-building abilities.
  • MBA, Investment Banking, or Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of open source software and artificial intelligence is a plus.
