Job Description

About Our Client

Our client's mission is to empower the essential work of caring for our elders. This is achieved by providing a modern operating platform and electronic health record (EHR) that enables senior living operators to deliver high-quality care with confidence. Caregivers are the heart of senior living communities, embodying care, compassion, and well-being. Yet, they face increasing challenges—higher resident acuity, complex workflows, and staffing shortages. The organization builds tools that simplify their tasks, eliminate inefficiencies, and provide the insights they need to focus on what truly matters—caring for residents.

Our client strives to live its values each day, in every interaction with customers and with each other:

  • Be responsible – leave things better than you found them
  • Take ownership – be decisive and take action
  • Be ambitious – build something great
  • Keep an open mindset – communicate candidly and welcome new ideas
  • Be humble – celebrate each others’ successes and learn from our mistakes
  • Stay positive – assume best intent

About the Role

Our client's data-driven approach and customer-obsessed culture are critical to its success as a company and brand. As the organization grows, analytical expertise is being built across the team, and a Data Analyst - Customer Insights is sought to join the Data team while partnering closely with Customer Success to help clients better support their communities and caregivers. This role will be the bridge between data and customer empowerment, helping the Customer Success team show senior living communities how data insights can simplify workflows, reduce administrative burden, and give caregivers the tools they need to focus on resident care.

About the Team

Our client is led by a highly experienced team with backgrounds in top tech and healthcare companies, successful startups, and large-scale product and clinical operations. Supported by leading investors, it partners with major U.S. senior care organizations to innovate and improve senior living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer data to identify how communities can better support their caregivers and streamline workflows
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help Customer Success demonstrate value to clients
  • Partner with Customer Success on Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), customer meetings, and strategic initiatives
  • Present findings to customers and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Build scalable data processes and provide strategic feedback to Product and Engineering teams
  • Understand senior living operations and caregiver workflow patterns to identify pain points and opportunities that empower care teams

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of data analyst experience with advanced SQL skills (window functions, CTEs, query optimization)
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar
  • Solid understanding of statistics for practical business applications
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with concrete examples of helping customers meet their goals
  • Experience presenting to external stakeholders and working directly with customers
  • Understanding of data structures, privacy, and responsible data stewardship
  • Excellent communication skills - the ability to make complex data accessible to anyone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare data experience (EHR systems, medical terminology) is a plus

The company offers market-competitive pay with meaningful equity, plus a strong benefits package that includes fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance, HSA contributions, a 401(k) match, and robust physical and mental wellness support.
