About Swooped
This role is with a management consulting firm providing financial management, acquisition management, program management, and data analytic support services to federal and state governments. The organization was founded and has offices in the DC metro area.
Role Overview
As a Contract Specialist, you will be a member of a team delivering acquisition support services to a government agency. You will handle duties ranging from pre-award functions, contract documentation, to post-award administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan acquisition strategy and collect requirement packages from mission partners.
- Review and develop Performance Work Statements and Statements of Work.
- Provide source selection support per Federal Acquisition Regulation.
- Draft and manage acquisition/contract documentation including RFPs and contract awards.
- Perform pre-award activities: market research, stakeholder coordination, and proposal evaluation.
- Execute post-award functions: contract administration, terminations, and closeouts.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Assist in price and cost analysis and comply with GAO closeout mandates.
Work Schedule, Location, and Travel
This position is remote.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 24 credit hours in Business from an accredited institution.
- At least five years contracting experience supporting Federal Government Agencies.
- Experience in operational, construction, and architect-engineer services contracting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
