About the Role

The Contract Specialist role at Swooped supports acquisition services for a management consulting firm providing financial, acquisition, program management, and data analytic support to federal and state governments. The organization was founded in the DC metro area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan acquisition strategies and collect requirement packages.
  • Assist in developing Performance Work Statements and Statements of Work.
  • Provide source selection support while adhering to Federal Acquisition Regulation.
  • Draft acquisition and contract documentation including RFPs and award documents.
  • Conduct both pre-award (market research, stakeholder coordination) and post-award functions (contract administration and closeout).
  • Mentor junior team members and perform price and cost analysis.

Work Schedule & Location

This position is remote with team offices in the DC metro area.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 24 credit hours in Business from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum five years contracting experience supporting Federal Government Agencies.
  • Experience in operational, construction, and architect-engineer services contracting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
