About Swooped
This Compliance Analyst role strengthens enterprise governance and compliance by building structure, increasing accountability, and ensuring teams operate with clarity and confidence. The role supports policy management, internal audits, vendor oversight, and regulatory compliance to maintain trust among educators, students, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Policies and Procedures: Maintain and update company-wide policies, standards, and procedures. Coordinate periodic reviews, version control, approvals, and distribution.
- Internal Audit & Monitoring: Conduct audits, control assessments, track remediation steps, and prepare detailed reports including SOC 2 Type II audits.
- Vendor Management: Enhance the vendor management program via due diligence, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Compliance Program Support: Support privacy, information security, and regulatory initiatives. Aid in compliance training, maintain documentation, and participate in cross-functional projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, Legal Studies, Information Security or related field, with 2–4 years experience. Must have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in technology, SaaS, or education technology and familiarity with privacy/data protection frameworks like FERPA, COPPA, GDPR, NIST, and SOC 2. Experience with GRC tools, project management systems, or vendor management platforms is a plus.
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
The role is remote with travel 1–2 times a year for team meetings or conferences and may involve prolonged sitting or standing.

Compensation is estimated between $80,000 and $90,000 USD based on skills and experience.
