Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic

The Service Technician is a skilled professional responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing automotive issues. In this role, you will be the heart of the service department, ensuring vehicles run smoothly and safely through quality repairs and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis and Repair: Analyze concerns, use diagnostic tools, inspect systems, craft repair plans, replace faulty components, test functionality, and document repairs.
  • Customer Service: Explain technical issues, provide estimates and timelines, keep customers updated.
  • Technical Skills: Maintain deep understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures; perform both basic and complex repairs.
  • Additional Duties: Test drives, research technical info, suggest preventative maintenance, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High Hospitality Quotient (HQ) with kindness, optimism, and integrity.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record.
  • 2-3 years of experience or equivalent training.
  • Completion of automotive technician training and possibly ASE certifications.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
