The Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Swapfiets, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. This team is responsible for end-to-end employee recruitment, employer branding initiatives, job marketing strategies, and various other crucial talent-related functions.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle to find and hire exceptional new team members for our Headquarters and key operational roles.
  • Craft and refine engaging job postings that effectively attract top-tier talent.
  • Continuously optimize and streamline our hiring processes to ensure efficiency and a superior experience.
  • Employ creative and innovative methods, including social media and various channels, to proactively identify and engage candidates.
  • Maintain an organized and current Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers, providing guidance for effective hiring decisions.
  • Support managers in developing their recruitment skills and best practices.
  • Ensure an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring managers, consistently meeting our ambitious hiring objectives.
  • Strategically source and attract the best talent for challenging-to-fill positions, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn.

What You'll Bring

  • Secondary vocational education.
  • 3 - 5 years of comprehensive 360 recruitment experience.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
  • Proven strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, essential for cross-functional collaboration.
  • A proactive, creative mindset, comfortable with innovative, outside-the-box approaches to talent attraction and engagement.
  • Fluency in both English and Dutch (written and spoken).
  • Currently living in the Amsterdam area or willing to commute.
  • An eagerness to learn, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
