About The Role
As a Marketing Content Creator on the Swap Marketing Team, you will be instrumental in shaping Swap's external perception. This role involves the entire content lifecycle, from concept and scripting to filming, editing, and publishing. You will produce social-first content that informs, excites, and performs effectively.
You will collaborate closely with brand, growth, and product marketing leads to transform key messages into compelling assets. Your work will help grow awareness, communicate clearly, and establish an iconic voice within a technical industry. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple projects, balancing conceptual thinking with execution, and adapting content across various platforms and formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and publish content across various formats, including social videos, paid ads, and brand visuals for our website, email, and campaigns.
- Film, voice, edit, and post content to platforms as needed, focusing on clarity, pacing, and platform-specific best practices.
- Translate complex or technical product ideas into clear, visual storytelling through video and static formats.
- Write sharp, on-brand copy for captions, scripts, and social posts.
- Support the Creative Director, Brand Director, and the broader team in campaign storytelling and rollout.
- Contribute to the evolution of our monthly content development, including tone, topics, format mix, and cadence.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and relevant cultural moments.
- Maintain and update content calendars, adapting assets based on platform (LinkedIn vs. Instagram/TikTok), monthly insights, and performance learnings.
What we would like to see:
- 1–4 years of experience in content creation within a brand, agency, or B2B environment (recent graduates with strong portfolios are also encouraged to apply).
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills, particularly for digital and social-first formats.
- Excellent visual instincts and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams to bring content to life across various formats.
- Comfort working within an established tone of voice, with the adaptability to push boundaries when appropriate.
- Proficiency in converting technical or abstract concepts into clear, engaging content across video, captions, and scripts.
- A collaborative mindset with the initiative to partner across teams, especially Sales and Product.
- Working knowledge of SEO/GEO principles and their application in content production and optimization.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Figma, Slack, and Notion (or a proven ability to quickly learn new tools).
