Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will provide efficient academic, administrative, and coordination support to ensure smooth operational workflows, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with university and regulatory requirements, while supporting faculty, staff, and students at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations across academics and administration.
- Coordinate with faculty, staff, and students for administrative and academic requirements.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of reports, MIS, and documentation for audits and regulatory submissions (NAAC, AICTE, NIRF, etc.).
- Facilitate administration processes, including scheduling, verification, and coordination.
- Manage communication, records, and data with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide timely support in general administration and departmental coordination.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree from a statutory university.
Professional Certifications
Any relevant certification in office administration or academic management is desirable but not mandatory.
Professional Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in administration. Prior experience in a similar administrative or coordination role is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Hands-on expertise in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of Oracle and SAP is preferred.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities with high attention to detail.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with academic administration processes and regulatory compliance.
