About The Position
As a Data Privacy Consultant, you will join the Cyber Engineering Team in India with a hybrid/remote work model, ensuring privacy compliance throughout product development and third-party procurement. Your responsibilities include integrating Privacy by Design, conducting DPIAs, performing risk assessments, supporting procurement phases, conducting privacy training, and leading awareness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary privacy contact for product and engineering teams.
- Conduct workshops, privacy assessments, and remediation activities.
- Implement GDPR, ISO 27001 controls, and NIST Privacy Framework measures.
- Assist in data classification, management initiatives and drive the privacy agenda.
- Supervise and train junior team members and support large projects.
Essential Skills / Competencies
- Minimum 3 years' experience in privacy/data protection.
- Deep understanding of EU privacy laws (GDPR, Ai Act, Digital Markets Act, etc.).
- Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM or similar.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in marketplaces.
What You Bring To The Table
You will facilitate privacy workshops, provide first line advisory for day-to-day privacy queries, implement technical privacy controls, and lead data privacy efforts across digital products. Your role is central in ensuring compliance, risk management, and continuous innovation within privacy practices.
Education & Experience
Bachelor or Master in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or related fields with 3-8 years of practical experience.
