Brand Partnership Lead
We are looking for a Brand Partnership Lead to join our Brand Center team. This role can be based in Finland, France, Spain, Italy, or the DACH region. About the role
As Brand Partnership Lead, you will be responsible for driving Suunto’s brand awareness and strategic objectives through impactful partnerships with brands, athletes, events, and ecosystem players. You will both develop new strategic collaborations and maximize the value of existing partnerships, ensuring high-quality activations that strengthen global brand presence. You will work closely with regional teams to enable consistent execution and business impact.
Key activities for the role are:
- Own and drive Suunto’s global brand partnership and sports marketing strategy, setting clear objectives aligned with brand goals.
- Identify, pitch, negotiate, and close strategic partnership opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end partnership development and manage high-visibility collaborations.
- Plan and oversee impactful partnership activations across channels.
- Manage the partnership marketing calendar to ensure timely execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to deliver compelling content.
- Provide concrete partnership and athlete activation guidance, tools, and best practices to regional teams.
- Lead selection, management, and activation of global ambassadors.
- Deliver clear ambassador guidelines and activation briefs aligned with the marketing calendar.
- Build long-term relationships with partners, athletes, and ambassadors.
- Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and other teams.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and optimize results.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years developing and executing global brand partnership strategies in the sports industry.
- Proven success in pitching, negotiating, and closing global partnership and sponsorship deals.
- Established network within the outdoor sports industry, including brand and athlete relationships.
- 5+ years designing and executing partnership activation plans across events, social media, PR, retail, and ambassador programs.
- Experience managing athlete and ambassador programs.
- Experience creating marketing materials, briefing creative teams, and ensuring brand guideline compliance.
- Fluent English; additional major languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel 1–2 times a month, including occasional weekends.
- Strong understanding of outdoor and sports watch markets and consumer trends.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and deadline-driven execution skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
