Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve documentation workflows and processes to support scalable content development and peer review.
  • Write, edit, and format technical documents in accordance with appropriate specifications, style, and branding for end-use requirements.
  • Establish new, appropriate technical writing specifications as needed and develop or maintain templates for documents.
  • Maintain proper document management processes, historical records, and files of work and revisions.
  • Determine and apply appropriate levels of writing and editorial approaches to project materials.
  • Facilitate the prioritization and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Quickly learn complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, user-friendly content, following Technical Documentation guidelines and content development best practices.
  • Support the development of a wide range of technical materials, including deployment guides, user manuals, API documentation, knowledge base articles, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, tutorials, release notes, and customer support content.
  • Maintain and update existing documentation to accurately reflect product changes, enhancements, and software updates.
  • Gather technical information and ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and easy to understand.
  • Support the implementation of AI-generated content responsibly, ensuring final materials meet standards for accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
  • Conduct usability and accuracy reviews of documentation, gathering feedback from users and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvements.
  • Support the goal of continuous improvement, efficiency, streamlining workflows, and enhancing the overall quality of the knowledgebase.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all technical documents and knowledgebase articles. Ability to maintain formatting, structure, and writing standards with minimal supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English, both oral and written. Skilled in communicating complex technical concepts in a simple, clear, and user-friendly manner across diverse audiences.
  • Proactive Approach: Takes initiative in identifying documentation gaps, proposing improvements, and coordinating with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure content is complete and up-to-date.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to quickly learn new software features, deployment procedures, system operations, and technical dependencies. Comfortable researching technical material from various sources including SMEs, diagrams, and system interfaces.
  • Content Development Skills: Advanced experience writing user guides, deployment manuals, release notes, and technical support content. Familiarity with using visual aids, diagrams, and examples to enhance comprehension.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Open to feedback, new ideas, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI content generation). Continuously seeks opportunities to improve documentation processes and end-user experience.
  • Commitment to User-Centricity: Passionate about creating documentation that genuinely helps users succeed, emphasizing clarity, practicality, and real-world applicability.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree required in English, Technical Writing, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
  • Experience and either a degree or knowledge in a specialized field – for example, engineering, IT, or the software industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of technical writing.
  • Ability to successfully interface with a diverse team – from development personnel to executives – to ensure completion of required assignments.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and publishing software.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Action-oriented with strong analytical skills.

This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Product Knowledge and Enablement Manager.
