Job Summary: Travel Pharmacist Opportunity
Supplemental Health Care is actively seeking dedicated Travel Pharmacists for contract assignments within esteemed partnering hospitals located in Independence, Missouri. Responsibilities
- Monitor drug charts to ensure accurate and appropriate medication administration.
- Maintain and monitor drug supply levels, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- Inform and educate patients about their medications, potential side effects, and proper usage.
- Assist in choosing appropriate medications based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Missouri Pharmacist License is mandatory.
- A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in an Acute-Hospital based Pharmacy setting is required.
Pharmacist Contract Details
- Estimated weekly payment ranges from $2,060 to $2,245 (may include taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals).
- Typical AM shift availability.
- The initial contract duration is 13 weeks, with potential for extension based on performance and hospital needs.
- Work schedule is 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts.
