AI Creative Director at Superside
Superside is seeking a visionary AI Creative Director with a strong focus on Generative AI to lead a globally distributed team of creatives, delivering innovative work across branding, landing pages, ad and social creative, print design, presentation design, and more. In this pivotal role, you’ll participate in elevating our creative capabilities and integrating cutting-edge AI solutions into our design processes.
As a Creative Director, you will lead the creative vision across multiple customer accounts, including brands like Meta, Amazon, Salesforce, Shopify, and Google, and take full accountability for the quality and consistency of creative output. You will serve as the key creative contact for our customers, helping them solve problems through strategic creative thinking, ensuring our work delivers business impact, and pushing our creative standards forward.
What you'll do
Creative Leadership & Customer Engagement
- Own the creative vision for key accounts, partnering with Creative Directors to shape brand expression and output.
- Guide conceptual direction and ensure alignment with customer goals across campaigns, content, and formats.
- Lead customer calls and creative presentations, offering clear rationale, feedback, and recommendations.
- Champion creative quality through direction, feedback, and refinement.
Team Direction & Mentorship
- Provide strong, actionable direction to creative teams across disciplines.
- Collaborate with Creative Project Managers to ensure alignment between vision, scope, and resources.
- Mentor and inspire talent, raising the bar across projects through coaching and feedback.
AI Integration & Innovation
- Use Generative AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Firefly, DALL·E) to support ideation and design when relevant.
- Help teams adopt AI to enhance creativity and efficiency, without compromising quality.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and creative technologies, sharing insights to maintain Superside’s competitive edge.
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate creative concepts.
- 7+ years in creative leadership, preferably in global agencies or fast-paced in-house teams.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative excellence across branding, presentations, and ad creative, with evidence of AI-enhanced work.
- Experience leading customer relationships and creative delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and presentation tools like PowerPoint and Keynote.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools like MidJourney, DALL·E, and Adobe Firefly, with a demonstrated ability to integrate them into creative workflows.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing globally distributed team.
- Bias for action, proactive, customer-centric, and execution-driven mindset.
