AI Creative Director at Superside
Superside is looking for a visionary AI Creative Director with a strong focus on Generative AI to lead a globally distributed team of creatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering innovative work across branding, landing pages, ad and social creative, print design, presentation design, and more. You will elevate our creative capabilities and integrate cutting-edge AI solutions into our design processes.
As an AI Creative Director, you will lead the creative vision across multiple customer accounts, including major brands like Meta, Amazon, Salesforce, Shopify, and Google. You will take full accountability for the quality and consistency of creative output, serving as the key creative contact for our customers. Your role involves solving problems through strategic creative thinking, ensuring business impact, and continuously pushing our creative standards forward.
What you'll do
Creative Leadership & Customer Engagement
- Own the creative vision for key accounts, partnering with Creative Directors to shape brand expression and output.
- Guide conceptual direction and ensure alignment with customer goals across campaigns, content, and various formats.
- Lead customer calls and creative presentations, providing clear rationale, feedback, and strategic recommendations.
- Champion creative quality through meticulous direction, constructive feedback, and continuous refinement.
Team Direction & Mentorship
- Provide strong, actionable direction to diverse creative teams across multiple disciplines.
- Collaborate effectively with Creative Project Managers to ensure seamless alignment between creative vision, project scope, and available resources.
- Mentor and inspire creative talent, consistently raising the bar across projects through insightful coaching and constructive feedback.
AI Integration & Innovation
- Utilize Generative AI tools, such as MidJourney, Firefly, and DALL·E, to support ideation and design processes when relevant.
- Actively help teams adopt AI technologies to enhance creativity and efficiency, always without compromising quality standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and creative technologies, sharing valuable insights to maintain Superside’s competitive edge.
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent English communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively present and articulate complex creative concepts.
- 7+ years in creative leadership, preferably gained in global agencies or fast-paced in-house creative teams.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative excellence across branding, presentations, and ad creative, with demonstrated evidence of AI-enhanced work.
- Extensive experience leading customer relationships and overseeing creative delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and essential presentation tools like PowerPoint and Keynote.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools such as MidJourney, DALL·E, and Adobe Firefly, coupled with a demonstrated ability to seamlessly integrate them into creative workflows.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing, globally distributed team.
