Job Summary
We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Sales Representative who specializes in creating accurate and competitive sales quotations based on product configurations and customer requirements. This role focuses on translating technical and commercial inputs into professional offers and supporting the sales team with fast, precise, and compliant pricing and configurations. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of sales, operations, and technical solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and deliver accurate sales quotations based on predefined product configurations and customer-specific requirements.
- Confident and professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze RFQs, RFPs, BOMs, and customer requests and translate them into technical and commercial proposals.
- Configure solutions using internal configuration tools, CPQ systems, pricing tools, and product catalogs.
- Ensure pricing accuracy, margin compliance, and alignment with company policies and approval processes.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Managers, Pre-Sales Engineers, Product Management, and Operations teams.
- Support the sales team with technical and commercial clarifications during the sales process.
- Manage the full quotation lifecycle, including revisions, approvals, and follow-ups.
- Ensure fast turnaround times while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
- Keep CRM, ERP, and internal documentation systems up to date.
- Stay informed about product updates, pricing changes, and configuration rules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, inside sales, quotation management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and structured working style.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Technical affinity or strong interest in technical products and solutions.
- Willingness and ability to learn complex product configurations, tools, and systems.
- Experience with CPQ tools, ERP systems, or CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple quotations in parallel.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
Language Skills
- Fluency in English is required (written and spoken).
- German language skills are a strong plus and highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT infrastructure, hardware, or technical solution sales.
- Understanding of pricing models, margin calculations, and discount structures.
- Experience in an international sales environment.
