About The Role

Super.com is seeking Software Engineering Interns with at least 8 months of web development experience to join the engineering team. This internship is technically challenging and focuses on three development pillars: travel, fintech, and a superapp membership. The role involves handling thousands of requests per second, processing over 1TB of data daily, and managing sales exceeding $1MM per day with 99.9+% uptime.

  • Ship technically challenging projects end-to-end in a dynamic environment.
  • Drive significant impact on business metrics and user experience.
  • Own features, services, caches, and databases from deployment to testing.
  • Write production-ready, well-tested code rapidly.
  • Work on both frontend and backend components.

Our Tech

The tech stack includes microservices written in Python (FastAPI), React with TypeScript on the frontend, and Postgres/Redis for databases and caching. Version control is managed through GitLab and infrastructure hosted on AWS using Kubernetes. Additional tools include Datadog for monitoring, Amplitude for client-side metrics, and Snowflake for data warehousing.

About You

Candidates should have a minimum of 8 months of web development experience, familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular), and experience with web servers. You should be a quick learner, capable of taking ownership of features and solving intricate problems logically. A willingness to work on both frontend and backend tasks is essential.
