About This Role

We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern to join Super.com's growing Finance & Strategy team. The FP&A intern will work closely with our FP&A team in a fast-paced startup environment across various projects designed to uncover key insights into the business.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Strategic Thinking: You will look at all areas of our business to grasp the whole picture.
• Financial Acumen: Analyze financial and operational results to improve forecasts and inform decision making.
• Analytical Experience: Conduct financial analysis, build dashboards and reporting, dive deep into understanding data.
• Business Acumen: You will use a strong, analytical mindset, attention to detail and critical thinking skills to perform a variety of analyses (both quantitative and qualitative), conducting research, querying and analyzing data, and making recommendations.

What We’re Looking For

• You are a post-secondary student, studying in Finance, Business, Math, Statistics, Economics, Accounting or a related field (ideally with 1-2 terms of experience).
• You have a passion for numbers, data, spreadsheets, and attention to detail.
• You have a strong work ethic with a desire to contribute to a fast growing start up team.
• You are a critical thinker & problem solver with a natural curiosity to challenge the status quo.
• You have the ability to learn quickly and a desire to continuously learn throughout the internship.

What We Offer

• Home Office Setup Allowance: $300 one-time
• Friday UberEats Allowance: $25/week
• Learning & Development Allowance: $300/ per term
• Fitness/Wellness Allowance: $120/per term

Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, provided they maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone and are available to work a 40-hour work week.

We’re a remote-first company, but you’re always welcome to join us at our head office on 260 Queen Street West in Toronto. We also host virtual and in-person socials where interns can connect, play games, and meet others - including company - wide game nights and events. While optional, these are great ways to build connections and make the most of your Super.com experience.
