About The Role
The Director, Payments leads the payments teams, sets strategic goals, and steers the payments strategy. This role requires collaboration with internal leadership and key external partners to transform and evolve Super.com's payments capabilities.
About The Team
The payments team delivers best-in-class payment solutions as both a shared service and a cross-functional group. They partner with leaders across the business to drive strategy and enhance product development to increase profitable transactions.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Team Leadership: Hire and manage a high-performing team, mentor members, and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.
- Strategy Development: Establish company-wide payments strategy focused on conversion improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the expert for payments and provide guidance to internal teams.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify risk areas and develop policies and procedures to support governance and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to integrate payment solutions into business processes.
What We’re Looking For
Applicants should have over 10 years of hands-on experience leading cross-functional payments initiatives globally, with at least 5 years in fintech. A proven record in managing global payment processing, excellent strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to influence stakeholders are essential.
