Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to lead the development and maintenance of animations in ReactJS applications using GSAP. This role involves collaborating with designers, optimizing animations, integrating multimedia, and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with GSAP, ReactJS, TypeScript, and a strong understanding of responsive design and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of animations in ReactJS applications using GSAP to enhance user engagement.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually stunning and responsive animations that align with user experience goals.
- Optimize animations for performance across various devices and browsers to ensure a seamless experience.
- Integrate and synchronize audio and video elements within web applications to enrich user interactions.
- Create and implement interactive user interfaces utilizing Canvas animations, elevating overall application aesthetics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues promptly to maintain performance and usability.
- Research and innovate new animation techniques based on the core GSAP library, bringing fresh ideas to the development process.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a team culture of best practices and continuous improvement.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards across projects.
- Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies, trends, and best practices to enhance team effectiveness and project outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Developer, with a strong focus on GSAP and ReactJS.
- Strong proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, and state management tools like Redux or MobX.
- Extensive experience with GSAP, complex animations, and Canvas for creating rich visual experiences.
- Solid understanding of responsive design techniques and browser compatibility standards.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript principles, with a focus on performance optimization.
- Familiarity with integrating audio and video elements within web applications.
- Experience with Micro Frontend architecture and developing modular applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
