Product Manager, Supercell ID at Supercell
Supercell is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join the Supercell ID team within the Player Platform organization. In this pivotal role, you will drive a wide range of improvements for the Supercell ID product, overseeing cross-team initiatives and ensuring successful outcomes.
The Role
As a Technical Product Manager, reporting to the Supercell ID Product Lead, you will be instrumental in researching, specifying, and executing product improvements. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who excels in a fast-paced environment, collaborates effectively with technical teams across diverse projects, and demonstrates strong autonomy.
Supercell ID connects hundreds of millions of users to Supercell's ecosystem, building critical infrastructure and UX that integrates all games and web services into a cohesive player experience. Key focus areas include account safety, registration and login, compliance, identity, and developing Supercell-wide architecture for common account use cases.
What You'll Be Doing
- Ship: Be accountable for the success of technical initiatives.
- Collaborate: Build strong relationships with internal teams, facilitating alignment and ensuring smooth execution.
- Plan & Prioritize: Contribute to regular planning and prioritization processes.
- Research & Specify: Seek and deliver insights that shape our platform products.
What You Have
- Experience: 5+ years in software product management, delivering complex multi-month initiatives with multiple engineering teams.
- Interest in Gaming: Genuine enthusiasm for games and the gaming industry.
- Player Focus: Experience with consumer UX, working on products for everyday users.
- Technical Credibility: Professional experience collaborating with engineering teams on technical or platform products.
- Impact & Ownership: Demonstrated ability to ship impactful software product improvements from ideation to completion.
- Interpersonal & Relationship Skills: Strong communication and proven ability to build trust and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Would Be Nice if You Also Have
- Experience being part of a platform team focusing on identity or compliance systems.
- Worked on technical problems relating to scaling a loyalty program.
Where You'll Be
This role is based either in Helsinki or London. Members of the Supercell ID and Player Platform team are located in both our Helsinki and London studios. Successful candidates will be expected to travel between these two locations to foster relationships with Supercellians both within and outside the team.
