About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated UI UX Software Engineer to join our CommandIQ team within the RMS business unit. This role involves developing and enhancing mission-critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities. The successful candidate will work on decomposing high-level roadmap features into actionable tasks, designing, implementing, and testing software features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements. You will participate in technical discussions, peer reviews, and debugging activities to ensure high-quality deliverables. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project that is gaining significant interest both domestically and internationally, providing exposure to advanced systems and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience using Figma as a UI/UX design tool
  • Frontend framework development experience with Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Familiarity with Docker and REST APIs
  • Experience across the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience (an advanced degree may substitute for 2 years of experience)
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency with UI/UX test frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or Jest
  • Full-stack engineering experience
