About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our platform. In this role, you will lead the technical direction of our frontend development efforts while actively contributing as a hands-on engineer. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining our user-facing tools, including core song and artist pages, listening parties, artist tools, community management features, governance, and membership functionalities. You will play a pivotal role in influencing product decisions, enhancing user experience, and ensuring our platform remains scalable, performant, and accessible. As a leader within the engineering team, you will mentor junior engineers, champion best practices, and collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver innovative solutions that resonate with our community.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience writing production-quality software
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Live within GMT-8 to GMT-5 time zones (North American regions)
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and best practices
- Experience designing scalable and maintainable frontend systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
