About The Role

The Quality Assurance Engineer at ThriveCart plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, reliability, and performance of our e-commerce platform. This hands-on position involves designing detailed test plans, executing manual and automated tests, and developing automated test suites to ensure the platform functions flawlessly across web and mobile interfaces. The QA Engineer collaborates closely with engineering, product, and support teams to identify, document, and track defects, verify fixes, and ensure that releases meet high-quality standards. Additionally, the role encompasses monitoring production environments for post-release issues, contributing to continuous improvement of testing strategies, and supporting the implementation of QA best practices across teams. Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in Software QA or testing within SaaS, eCommerce, fintech, or similar sectors
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing frameworks
  • Experience testing APIs, databases, workflows, and web-based interfaces
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira and version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of payment systems and transaction flow testing is highly valued
  • Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as PlayWright, Jest, or similar
  • Understanding of API behavior, database interactions, and performance testing tools
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify edge cases and potential failure points
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
